Dues and Donation Payment Options
When it is time to renew your membership, you will receive reminder emails from the League of Women Voters of the United States via membership@lwv.org. The email will contain a link with three payment options: credit card, ACH, or check.
Your dues payment is split three ways:
- National League: 33%
- State League: 47%
- Local League: 20
Important Note on Processing Fees:
Credit card and ACH payments incur processing fees, which reduce the total amount received by the Leagues. There are no processing fees if you pay by check.
During the renewal process, you can also opt to donate to the LWV Tacoma-Pierce County. Please note that donations made via credit card or ACH are also subject to processing fees.
IF POSSIBLE, PAY BY CHECK SO 100% OF YOUR DUES AND
DONATIONS DIRECTLY SUPPORT THE WORK OF THE LEAGUE.
- Membership Dues should be made payable to LWVUS
- Operating Fund donations should be made payable to LWV Tacoma-Pierce County
- Education Fund donations should be made payable to LWV Tacoma-Pierce County Education Fund (tax-deductible donation)
