Homelessness 2024: Updates, Resources, and Actions
Facilitated by Theresa Power-Drutis and Rosemary Powers. Join us to learn about current realities of homelessness in Tacoma/Pierce County and beyond. We’ll be looking at life on the streets, legislative and legal issues, advocacy, and city/county responses. You’ll hear about resources for becoming more informed and opportunities for action.
We will hear from Sally Perkins of Practical Solutions, Tacoma who is also a member of the Tacoma/Pierce County Coalition to End Homelessness. Sally provides outreach assistance to unsheltered people in the Hilltop and is a dedicated advocate for policy reforms related to homelessness.
