About this event
As we approach the end of the program year, and before most summer adventures, please plan to attend our League’s Annual Membership Meeting on June 8, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm (followed by potluck lunch), at First United Methodist Church Friendship Hall, 621 Tacoma Ave. S. (back entrance).
Arrive any time from 9:30 a.m. on for hot/cold drinks, breakfast breads, and conversation. The business meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Members will receive the Annual meeting booklet by email in mid-May. It will have all the details you need for background and decisions. During the meeting we will provide an update about future dues structure and sharing among the local, state and national Leagues. There will also be a short presentation/discussion on understanding and responding to political polarization—a constant feature of our current civic life.
This is a great time to catch up with old friends and welcome new members to the League. And you already know the potluck food will be terrific.
